We show up beyond the transport — in competitions, at community fairs, and anywhere we can be useful to the people we serve.
Our crews compete in regional and statewide EMS skills competitions — patient assessment relays, extrication challenges, and the ever-contested Best Truck award. We take the trophy seriously and clean our rigs like it.
We roll our fleet out to public safety expos, fire and rescue shows, and community appreciation days across the Richmond metro. Come see the vehicles up close, meet the crew, and ask us anything.
Virgin Med participates in health fairs hosted by churches, community centers, and local health systems — offering free blood pressure checks, transportation resources, and information about what medical transport looks like.
Our crews volunteer at school events, senior centers, and neighborhood programs to educate the public about calling 911 versus non-emergency medical transport and what resources are available to them.
We partner with local nonprofits to provide free or reduced-cost transport for charity events, hospice outreach programs, and patients who cannot afford scheduled medical rides. Community first — business second.
Every year we host a cookout and crew recognition event honoring our drivers, EMTs, and paramedics as well as our local fire and police partners. Big food, bigger appreciation.
