Training Programs
CPR classes and EMT-Basic training run by working paramedics and EMTs. Built for people who want to do the job right.
American Heart Association–aligned CPR courses for healthcare providers and laypersons. Covers adult, child, and infant CPR, AED use, and hands-only techniques. Course runs approximately 8 hours with hands-on skills stations.
Our Virginia-approved EMT-Basic program prepares students to sit for the NREMT examination. Curriculum covers patient assessment, airway management, trauma, medical emergencies, and field operations over approximately 120 classroom and lab hours.
Classes are offered on weekday evenings and weekends to accommodate working adults and career-changers. Cohorts are capped at 12 students to ensure every person gets hands-on time with instructors who are active field providers.
We bring CPR and first-aid training directly to your facility — no travel required for your staff. Available for businesses, nursing homes, schools, and community groups across the Richmond metro. Contact us for scheduling and pricing.
All coursework is based on current national standards and Virginia EMS regulations. Students receive a digital course packet, access to practice exams, and one-on-one remediation support from instructors before certifying.
EMT-B students complete a supervised clinical practicum at a partnered emergency department and complete ride-along hours with our active BLS fleet before graduation — real-world experience before the first paid shift.
CPR students receive their AHA certification card the same day. EMT-B graduates receive their Virginia EMS license upon passing the NREMT written and skills exams. We walk every student through the full registration process from start to finish.
Graduates who complete our EMT-B program are given priority consideration for open positions on our fleet. We actively hire from our own training cohorts — finish the course, interview with ops, and start your EMS career here.
